WILD IMAGINATION

The best ideas are found while pruning a wild imagination

4/16/2023 Sun in Aries,  Moon in Pisces (fire, water)

Greetings, dear friends,

Today is a special day, a day of opposites and paradoxes. It is a day of celebration and reflection, of light and darkness, of fire and water. It is a day when the sun is in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, and the moon is in Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. It is a day when the energy of the universe is working together in mysterious ways, inviting us to explore the depths of our imagination and creativity.

On this day, we celebrate the Orthodox Catholic holiday of Easter, a day of rebirth and renewal. It is a day when we honor the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and reflect on the power of love, compassion, and forgiveness. It is a day when we acknowledge the cycles of life and death, and the eternal spirit that lives within us all.

But Easter is not just a religious holiday. It is also a symbol of the human experience, a reminder of the power of transformation and growth. Just as the seed must die to give birth to a new plant, so too must we let go of our old selves in order to become something new. And in this process of transformation, we must confront the wild imagination within us, the part of us that is untamed, unpredictable, and uncontrollable.

The best ideas, I believe, are found while pruning a wild imagination. Our imagination is like a garden that needs constant care and attention. We must cultivate it, water it, and nourish it with our thoughts and ideas. But we must also prune it, trim away the dead branches, and clear away the weeds that threaten to choke the life out of our creativity.

Pruning our imagination is not always easy. It requires us to be honest with ourselves, to confront our fears and insecurities, and to let go of the things that no longer serve us. It requires us to be patient, persistent, and compassionate with ourselves. And it requires us to trust in the process of growth and transformation.

But when we prune our imagination, when we clear away the clutter and the noise, we create space for new ideas and insights to emerge. We allow ourselves to see things in a new light, to connect the dots between seemingly unrelated concepts, and to tap into the wisdom of our intuition.

So, my friends, on this self-care Sunday, I invite you to take some time to prune your wild imagination. Find a quiet place where you can be alone with your thoughts and ideas. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, allowing yourself to relax and let go of any tension or stress.

Then, imagine yourself in a beautiful garden, surrounded by flowers, trees, and birds. See yourself holding a pair of pruning shears, ready to clear away any dead branches or overgrown vines. Take your time, moving slowly and deliberately, allowing yourself to be present in the moment.

As you prune away the old, feel the energy of the universe flowing through you, guiding you, and inspiring you. See the beauty and potential in every living thing, and recognize that this same beauty and potential exists within you.

And as you finish your pruning, take a moment to reflect on the new ideas and insights that have emerged. Write them down, sketch them out, or simply hold them in your heart. Remember that these ideas are a gift, a reflection of the energy that is attracted to the images in your mind that are anchored in your heart.

Be mindful, my friend, I hope that this self-care Sunday has been a time of reflection and renewal for you. May you continue to prune your wild imagination, and may you discover the best ideas that lie within you.

Remember, You are mystical AF!
